Traveling is becoming a way of life for me. Each time I pack, my bag is emptier. I am becoming accustomed to the wayward life of travel. Roaming is a passion that I fully embrace! This adventure is my first trip with a single companion. MaryAnn, my adopted grandmother, came with me to this area of the world, because her grandparents were Polish. They came over to the States through Ellis Island, to enjoy the freedoms offered in America. Now, this crazy, Polish, lady, gets to visit her "homeland." It will be the adventure of a lifetime for her, and hopefully just another of many for myself. We have two, long, fun filled weeks ahead of us, and I can't wait to see what we get ourselves into.
"Please turn off all electronic devices at this time. That includes your iPods, iPhones, computers, iPads, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries..."
That's my cue! We're off to Paris, and then onward to Warsaw. See you on the other side of the Atlantic, folks.
